Matthew Fuss is a Partner of the firm and the head of Andersons’ civil law team.
Matthew commenced his legal career undertaking the Practical Legal Training aspect of his combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice degree at Andersons in 2005. After working as a law clerk, he was admitted in 2006 and commenced in the commercial department with a particular focus on wills, estates and property law.
Since transitioning to Andersons’ civil litigation department in 2008, Matthew has become an expert specialising in civil litigation and personal injury law. Matthew has a broad expanse of knowledge in civil, motor vehicle accidents, public liability, workers compensation, superannuation, income protection, total and permanent disablement, as well as wills and estates.
In addition to being the head of Andersons’ civil law team, Matthew also works out of and heads up Andersons’ Morphett Vale office splitting his time between the Morphett Vale and Adelaide offices.
Matthew is meticulous in covering all the details that will contribute to a claim being successful. A claimant only has one attempt to bring a claim and so it is important to get the smallest of details right the first time. Matthew’s goal when acting for his clients is to assist, guide and support them through the legal claims process to maximise their entitlements enabling clients to focus on recovery from their injuries.
Matthew has been repeatedly recognised for his knowledge, skill, expertise in Doyles Guide and Three Best Rated as a leading lawyer for public liability and workers compensation claims. He has also been recognised by Best Lawyers for his work in all personal injury claims.
